Years on the touchline
Touchline Ready was built by a coach. Over the last ten years, I've coached my son's football teams across Hertfordshire, from muddy midweek training sessions to early morning matchdays and end-of-season tournaments in the summer sun.
And like clockwork, at the end of every season, the parents would want to show their appreciation. Which is genuinely humbling — because coaching grassroots football takes up a huge amount of time, heart, and more than a few soggy Saturdays.

Parents would scramble to figure out my favourite beer, what snacks I liked, which restaurants I preferred. The thoughtfulness was always there, but I'd end up with gifts I had no real use for, while quietly wishing for something I could actually wear and use proudly on the touchline.
So I flipped the question. What would I, as a coach, actually want to receive? What would I wear with pride on a matchday morning? What would feel like it was made for someone like me?
